Snootchie Bootches!

No Cincy next week, probably the week after. What joy.

Location, Location, Location

Looks like I might be headed off to Cincinati next week. Maybe. We'll see.

Oh, and I've actually started tetlling people about this monstrosity, so I better keep my shit together and make my entries more interesting. Which wouldn't be hard.

Wake Up, Wake Up, You Sleepy Head

Got an e-mail late last night, asking me to attend a conference call this morning. Which would be fine, I suppose, short notice and all, except that it's at 7:30 in the freaking morning, that is to say, now. Or it's supposed to be. It hasn't started yet. Grrrrrrr . . . .

Electronic Warfare

I'm smoking too damn much lately. I even had to light a cigarette before I started saying that I smoke too much. I think it could be about time to quit again.

Spent most of last night and today downloading and installing the latest version of WFM onto both my main hard drive and my secondary "demo" hard drive. Now, I just have to work on configuring it and I'll be good to go . . . . Yeah, right.

The Sounds Of Silence

I'm going to make a commitment to me, my loyal reader, to post in this bloody thing at least twice a day, with the exception of travelling times and weekends, when you (I) can bloody well go hang. Even if it's just a "Wow. Today is boring."

I swear.

Classically trained to rock your fucking socks off

So, after recovering from my Night Of Fright™, Marie and I spent 3 hrs or so waiting for her sister and cousin from Australia to show up on Friday to go out to dinner. We're orignally told they'll be here around 6, which means 7 in Kathryn time. After numerous phone calls of "We're just leaving to go pick up the kids" and "we're on our way," at 9, I decide, "Fuck it" and head off to Taco Hell™. Of course, because of ancient narrative traditions, this is their cue to actually show up.

Yesterday, we went up to Kevin & Gena's, where I got my Tenacious D CD back. What a lovely disc! I'd forgotten just how much fun it is. We then managed to meet up with Kathryn & Mark @ Buca Di Beppo. I don't often stump for restaurants, and never before online, but, damn! Good stuff, and shitloads of it.
